(In Memory of Samantha Runnion)
Sunrise, July 26, 1996 ~ Sunset, July 16, 2002
I know there's another angel in heaven,
an angel named Samantha
Your life upon this earth was cut so short
I know God has a special place for you up there...
You were wise beyond your years
touching all you met with your warmth and love
You were a brave soldier, Samantha
As the predator snatched you away
you went kicking and screaming
just like your mommy and daddy said to do...
Good night, precious Samantha, may you rest in peace
The angels will tuck you into your little bed
and sing you to sleep tonight for eternity.....
God Bless and keep you precious one.

STANTON, California (CNN) --Investigators trying to find a 5-year-old girl kidnapped in front of her home Monday converged on a location in a remote area of Riverside County where the body of a young girl was found Tuesday afternoon.

~Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona~

"She was a little girl. Little girls aren't supposed to die.
Little girls aren't supposed to die the way Samantha died".

~Sheriff Mike Carona~

"Don't take things for granted. And don't think that this ... cannot happen to you, because I didn't think, I didn't ever think, like I heard it a million times, I didn't ever think that something like that could happen to me."
